Army Deserters Will Be Pardoned Conditionally

TEHRAN Upon a proposal by the Armed Forces Chief Headquarters and approval of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, soldiers who deserted service will receive conditional pardon. According to the approval, if soldiers who deserted military service during their preliminary training and immediately afterwards, can take benefit from the pardon and remain immune of prosecution granted they report to the garrisons by August 22 to complete their service.
